If you look at any big media site you’ll find Wolfram being compared to Google. BTW: try searching for “wavelength of microwave”. Now this is scientific and computational. Yet WA does not know what to do with this.

IMO WolframAlpha is not yet ready for prime-time.

WolframAlpha is not a common search engine, but a ‘COMPUTATIONAL knowledge engine’.

If you look at some tutorials, helps, videos etc. you will soon notice how different these two are.

Comparing them equally is like comparing rubber and glue.

Try some Wolfram like queries, like “taylor series sin x” etc
