How Do I Display Line Numbers In Visual Studio
Go to Tools –> Options –> Text Editor –> All Languages and check Line numbers checkbox.

HMM. Seems to me you’re now following Chris Craft’s silly “31 Days of Visual Studio Tips & Tricks.pptx”. Please desist, or if you think you musn’t then post atleast 15 “tips and tricks” of this nature! :)

Hi Anon,
I had no idea who Chris Craft was until you told me in your comment. Motivation behind this post came from a workmate who asked me this question yesterday. Moreover my plan is not to write a tip daily. I plan to post a tip only when I come across something which is useful to me or I get asked a question which could be a good topic for a tips-n-tricks post.
Blogging is only fun when others read your blog and reader’s feedback is highly valuable. Thanks for your feedback. I will not go down that path as you mentioned. I have removed “Tip #1” from the post title so that it doesn’t look like I am doing a boring series :)

One thing you forgot to say!
on the options form, you have to check ‘Show advanced options!’
you wont see these options if you don’t check it!
